Balance – the amount of money in the client’s account, ready to conduct trade transactions (not taking into account open positions); financial cash on the account along with closed positions and operations that are far from trading.

Base Interest Rate – interest base rate.

Bid –the price at which the available currency can be sold.

Broker – a company with the help of which a trader has the opportunity to carry out trading operations on world financial markets.

Buy Limit – a pending order to purchase a financial instrument, subject to a decrease in value to the value selected in the order. To execute it, it is required that the dropped value of the cost

Buy Stop – pending order to purchase a financial instrument. Reverse in value from the above But Limit. Executed when the Ask price is higher.

Buy on close – purchase based on closing.

Currency pair –a financial instrument with 2 currencies making up a pair. It is used in the organization of a trade transaction.

Floating profit – „Floating“ size of profit or loss, taking into account real quotes and open positions.

Forex – a market for currencies of international importance, where it is allowed to conduct trade transactions and make a profit from this.

Forex Club –Forex trading partner.

Free Margin – free funds remaining in the client’s account. The tax on floating profit (loss) is taken into account for open positions and payment for the transfer of positions.

GAP – gap on the price chart. Occurs on weekends when the market is not functioning and certain events have occurred at that time.

GMT – GMT time, which determines time zones (Kiev +4. This means that the difference with Kiev time will be 4 hours). Greenwich time, which determines time zones (Kiev +4. This means that the difference with Kiev time will be 4 hours).

Hedger margin – тrational type requirements applied to maintain localized positions.

Hedging – an opportunity provided to clients of a trading exchange to simultaneously receive a deal for the purchase and sale of the same instrument. An order is given through the „hedge“ option, after the completion of which a position opened in the opposite direction will appear in the list of trader’s open positions.

Internet trading – trading on Dellytrade using Internet technologies (from anywhere, connected to a virtual network, without a boss and subordinates.

Investment – increase (multiplication) of the available capital of the trader.

Japanese Candles – Japanese candlesticks are a way to represent price movement over a selected period of time. They allow you to assess the market sentiment, potential trend reversals. The price movement is presented graphically.

Leverage – a tool that takes into account the ratio between the amount of the collateral and the size of the transaction. Due to leverage, it allows you to carry out significant financial transactions with little money. The leverage increases the amount operated by 20-200 times.

Login – network username of the system, invented independently. Allows you to identify the participant through the „login-password“ link.

Loss – loss caused by a completed transaction. Leads to a decrease in investment.

Lot – the amount of currency for which it is planned to conclude a deal. It represents a certain number of internal units or a monetary asset with which it is possible to complete a trade transaction.

Margin – the required amount of money to conduct (maintain) trading operations.

MetaFX –an account in the MetaTrader 4 trading platform, which is a popular solution for trading with 50 currency pairs and 54 instruments (stocks, oil, precious metals).

MetaTrades4 – a software package with the help of which a trader’s trade is organized.

Minimum deposit – the smallest financial amount deposited into the account, with which transactions are executed.

NASDAQ – the largest stock exchange in the United States with a capitalization of $ 6 trillion. Shares of about 4,000 companies are listed on it.

NYSE – the very first exchange in America. Founded 1792.

Offer –the price at which one participant in the trading system offers its currency to another.

Order – an order given to the dealer to perform trading operations (to execute transactions) upon the occurrence of the specified events.

Overmight –transfer of an open position to the next business day.

Pending order – an order from a trader to a broker to open a position when a certain price is reached, with or without expiration.

Pips – minimum rank in the quote. A change in the quote by 1 position means a change by 1 point.

Profit –the profit received by the trader from the transaction.

Quote – the present (current) value of the value of the currency pair at which it is proposed to conclude a deal.

Recommended deposit – the size of the deposit that is advised to open (from the standpoint of money management rules).

Sell Limit – a pending sell order when the value grows up to the size specified in the order. Executed at or above the Bid price.

Sell stop – a pending order, the purpose of which is to sell cheaper than at the present time. The Bid price must reach the parameter specified in the order.

Slippage – the greatest difference between the request quotation and the analogue proposed by the dealer. Measured in points.

Spread – difference between purchase and sale price.

Stop loss –an order to the dealer to urgently close the deal if the losses reach the agreed level. Performed to reduce the level of potential losses. Determines the partial (complete) termination of activities or a change in the strategy used.

Storage – transfer of unfinished position to the next day. In this case, funds are debited (credited) from the foreign currency account, which is determined by the direction of the positions.

Swap – fee for carrying over positions to the next day, depending on the difference in interest rates. May be charged or credited to the trader.

Symbol – financial instrument in MetaTrader4.

Tick – the smallest change in the price of the financial instrument used.

Trader – a Dellytrade client who enters into transactions on our platform with the aim of making a profit.

Trading terminal – a program that is installed on the client’s Internet device and gives admission to trading with currency pairs, precious metals and other instruments offered by Dellytrade.

Trailing Stop –a function in the trader’s terminal that makes it possible to automatically rearrange the Stop Loss order by a selected number of points.

Trend – general trend in the market. With an increase, the trend is considered positive, with a fall – negative. Expresses the general direction of changes in time series indicators.

Unemployment rate – a macroeconomic parameter that determines the ratio of the number of unemployed to the total labor force.

Volatility – volatility. It characterizes the indicator with the trend of price volatility. Plays an important role in financial risk management. Determines the degree of risk of using the selected financial instrument for a certain period of time.
